2 Years On..

Hello all,

Recently, I’ve been non-stop thinking about this blog and thinking of things I could talk to you guys about. My last post on here was on 1st December 2017 which seems like light-years away and my life has changed since then, as you can imagine. To be honest, I was just going to shut this site down and start again but then I thought, this site used to be my life. It used to be something that I used to get excited to open everyday and connect with my lovely followers. It’s crazy to think that like me, some of you guys might be inactive on here (I’m not sure why I just wrote that because you won’t be reading this lol). I couldn’t just delete this part of my life and start again so here I am.. 2 years on and still ‘that casual girl’.

Reflecting back over the 2 years, not ‘a lot’ has changed but I feel like I have grown majorly. I started on this site as a 20 year old, blogging about fashion and now I sit here as a 22 year old, who has a mortgage and will probably start blogging about my home and cleaning but that is what ‘that causal girl’ is about.

I’d love to know what some of you guys have been up to these past 2 years.

KKW Beauty – Ultralight Beam

When it comes to the Kardashian’s, there’s no doubt that they don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to beauty and business 🔥. Kim launched her beauty business with contour and highlight kits and a creme lipstick collection which was a huge success so there’s no surprise that Kim is launching more products.

A few weeks ago, she launched her fragrance collection which by the way, I can not wait to smell (just waiting here patiently for them to launched in the UK) and now she is launching an Ultralight Beam collection which consists of pigment shimmers, highlighters and glosses – I love a bit of glitter sparkle! ✨

The Ultralight Beam collection is launching on 1st Dec at 12pm PST (which I believe is 8pm here, right?) and is sold exclusively at kkwbeauty.com. You can buy powders and gloss as a duo for $32 or the whole collection for $160. It seems expensive but she is launching a gloss and powder duo in five different tones: Iridescent, Bronze, Copper, Yellow Gold and Rose gold so all in all, worth the money!

Unfortunately, due to the price of shipping and tax payments, I haven’t got any of the KKW Beauty products as I can’t afford them 😞 so if you’ve got some, pls let me know what they’re like!

So today in England, it started to snow!! Even though snow itself is beautiful, the temperature isn’t as much and I don’t know about you but I hate being cold! But lets just take a minute to thank the high-street retailers for their warm and fashionable coats. I love love love coats, I seem to have a weird obsession with them and if I could afford it, I would have a wardrobe just for coats. Is that weird? So I thought that I would pick some of my fav coats on the high-street at the moment.. I’m not sure if that’s to benefit you or me lol! It’s strange because when I was younger, you couldn’t get me to put on my coat for a n y t h i n g but now, I feel like my outfit isn’t finished without one!

So Kourtney Kardashian teamed up with Pretty Little Thing last month and launched her own clothing range and it has such a sassy and fire feel to it – but that’s what we expected right?

Kourt is my fav Kardashian (sorry, yes I do have a fav) and I will have to admit that I am constantly on her Instagram page to see what new trend/outfit she is wearing. I have picked some of my fav pieces from Kourt’s range with PLT which you can see above.

Guess who’s back?

Hello hello hello,

I feel so so guilty that I haven’t blogged in a long time and all I can do is apologise but I am back now.. Don’t worry 😉. I just want to thank you guys for sticking by me whilst I was away, you are the best friends in the world 🌏. For a few days now, I’ve been thinking about my come-back post and to be honest, the best I could come up with is updating you guys on what I have been up to. After this, I will be blogging again about fashion, beauty and the new, popular trends. OH and don’t forget.. CHRISTMAS. (No, it’s not too early, Christmas is always on my brain 😉).

As some of you are aware, I went on holiday to Turkey with my boyfriend and it was the most amazing holiday. Not only was the weather and the location beautiful, it was nice to spend some relaxing time with my boyfriend and not have to think about work for a few weeks. Our hotel was beautiful and it even had a water park which is perfect when you and your boyfriend are big kids haha!

 

As soon as I got back from holiday, work sent me away for a week to open up a brand new store. As you can imagine, it was so much hard work as we had a deadline to make an empty store perfect but it was also so much fun! I got some amazing feedback from the site manager and the regional visual merchandisers which was definitely a feel good factor!

Last but not least.. I got another tattoo!! I am absolutely in love with it! I love simple tattoos that don’t have much detail.. Maybe because I don’t like having to sit in the chair for ages haha! I have always wanted a flower tattoo done but I couldn’t decide what flower to get but in the end, I decided to get my nan’s fav flower in memory of her. I know that she would have loved it also.

PINK PERFECT – PINTEREST EDIT

Happy happy happy Thursday everyone! If you’re a regular, you’ll know that Thursday’s are Pinterest days.. Woohoo!! Today’s Pinterest Edit is about pink – recently, I have fallen in love with pink clothing. It’s so pretty!

PLT X Olivia Culpo

Olivia Culpo is an American actress and model and she is absolutely beautiful and so is her clothing range that she’s brought out with Pretty Little Thing. Olivia has said that her clothing range with PLT is inspired by the colours in Rome in the Spring.

I thought that I would share with you guys some of my fav pieces from her range and you can tell me yours, too!

Dresses are first and I’m sorry but look how BEAUT the red dress is 😍 😍.  The slit in the leg and the strappy back just makes it special! The dress is £30.00 and can be found here. It also comes in black too. The next dress is a bodycon fit with puff sleeves and a choker neck which I love love love. The dress is £25.00 which can be found here. This dress also comes in black which is perfect for a LBD.

I am a big lover of playsuits and Olivia has done well with these two. Both of these playsuits are different from what other shops sell which makes them extra special. The red ruffle playsuit is £30.00 which can be found here. This playsuit comes in black also but I personally prefer the red! The next photo doesn’t give the playsuit justice as it is embroidered with sequins 😍 and of course with this detail, it isn’t going to be cheap. The playsuit is £60.00 and can be found here.

Even though the material of the skirt isn’t my thing, I still love it. The side bow detail on the skirt just makes it! The skirt is £22.00 and can be found here. This skirt also comes in black. The tie waist shirt dress is my fav and something that I would defo wear on a day-to-day basis. The shirt is £25.00 and can be found here. This shirt dress also comes in white.
